Most MMJ Card Holders over 18 choose to smoke cannabis in the form of flower. Choose from Sativa, Indica, and, or Hybrid strains to help you feel better everyday.
Don't like to smoke? Tons of MMJ Cardholders choose to use edibles to treat their conditions. Get everything from Lollipops, Gummi Bears, Chocolate Bars, Cookies, Brownies, and even Cannabis Drinks at your local dispensaries.
Feeling pain in your body? Visit your local dispensary with your new MMJ Card and get Lotions, Tinctures, Creams and Oils to give yourself or have someone give you a message.
The Sativa strains are very popular for those who need to medicate during the daytime. If you need to complete tasks, go to work, and, or do anything productive that requires your focus, the Sativa strains should be your choice.
Need to relax and get some rest? If so, the Indica Strains should be your choice. Most users claim this strain to cure insomnia, relax muscles and joint pains.
Just as the name implies; the Hybrid strains are a mixture of both Sativa and Indica.
No, there are many states, including Ohio's neighbor; Michigan that will allow you to use your Ohio MMJ Card to purchase cannabis at dispensaries in their state. As of 2021, this was still the case. You can simply Google other states to find out if your Ohio Card will be honored in that state. You can also ask our customer support team by calling 1-800-317-1076 or emailing them at customersupport@ohiommjcards.com
Fortunately, you are covered by Ohio Laws.
As a registered marijuana patient, you do not have to
disclose to police officers that you are in possession of medical marijuana or consent
to a search. Yet, if a search is conducted, you should simply inform the police that you are a legal MMJ cardholder and patient.
Once you have completed the process and are approved by the physician, they will register you with the
State Board of Pharmacy in Ohio. Your registration will be good for 12 months unless you were registered as a terminally ill patient. In this case, your registration will be good for 6 months. If you would like to continue being a registered patient and cardholder after these times, you will be provided with a renewal discount of $25 off your next doctor exam.
For your protection, your card and registration can only be used by you as the patient. However, if you would like to have someone be able to purchase cannabis products for you, they can register as your "Caregiver," with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Registration as a Caregiver is only $25 per year. You can learn more about "Caregivers," below.
Just like any other medical caregiver of a patient in need, a MMJ Caregiver is someone who can
administrator medical marijuana to you. Fortunately, they can also buy it, possess it, and transport medical marijuana to for you as registered medical marijuana
patient. Once you are registered as a Ohio MMJ Cardholder and patient, you can designate someone to provide your care such as a spouse, partner, nurse, parent, guardian, or any one else close to you to be your registered MMJ Caregiver. Registration fees are only $25 in the state of Ohio as of 2021.
Fortunately, your registration with the State Board of Pharmacy in Ohio is NOT a matter of public record. Only licensed Physicians and dispensaries will be able to see and verify your and your caregiver's registration. Ohio law also prohibits the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, as well as licensed dispensaries from making your information
public. In other words, you are covered. Only those who need to know, will know you are a cardholder and patient.
